Another commission finished, it's the biggest dog sculpture I've done so far 1:9 scale - the commission is from a local and I went to see the dog to take photos, he's beautiful and had incredibly soft fur.

In real life the sculpture is darker, it's really hard photographing black animals.

I can't help for sculpting and making mold. Nevertheless for photographing black animals, the best is to use dark background because sensors are less fine than our eyes with big contrasts Wink

I have found that dark models are best in medium-bright sunshine
...but how often is it possibel to order medium-sunshine ? sunny scratch geek
Much easier to make a dark background Wink
