Lists are also being updated on Toy Animal Wiki, bulks are in this page. The post below was updated  at 1st July 2022
Those with a Sad smiley mean that their picture is still missing on TAW.
If you have pics of those missing, please share here. :)

-------- original post----------

Here's the try of listing all sets (and hopefully animals) that have been released in "Habitat Earth" with their scientific name (unfortunately not always possible; sometimes PV themselves made mistakes - those mistakes are set in brackets).

Play Visions: listing of sets, animals and scientific names Empty
PostSubject: Re: Play Visions: listing of sets, animals and scientific names   Play Visions: listing of sets, animals and scientific names EmptyTue Oct 16, 2012 1:22 pm

In this post pictures of (hopefully) all PV species will be gathered; the order is according to the catalog numbers, which is maybe also the order of release.
So we have everything together and it's not necessary to search the whole thread for the one or other picture. still under construction - for now mainly catalog pictures, "life" pictures will be added
For many sets we have a catalogue number. These numbers refer to bulk animal sets, not packages (tube sets have a "T" behind the bulk number), which have been sold under different numbers.

That is a fantastic work, thanks! Very Happy
Remember you can always edit your original post to update it.
The binturong is surely another species, I'll try to find it. The ringtailed mungo can be changed to ring-tailed mongoose, maybe.
I'll be back later and see what mor can I add to your great work! Very Happy

Thanks for the nice reception of the over-enthusiastic newbie, that fills the forum with her torrent of words. I love you

And thanks for addendums and especially the corrections, that's exactly the sort of information I hoped to get.
Unfortunately I realize Playvisions sometimes made mistakes. That's p.e. why I have problems with some of the PD Frogs. I don't have the frogs in real yet, so I can't check, but from what I see they named the blue Frog with yellow-red dots Dyeing Frog, and what's the Dyeing Frog indeed (yellow with blue extremities) is named Harlequin Frog scratch

Actually the deer contained in the Asian set is a Chital or Axis deer (Axis axis).

I will try to list the lemur set later.

wow you guys are really busy!! Sad(o)): Sad(o)):

Yes of course, why not list the big animals too? Would be nice to make the listing as complete as possible.

Referring the arctic set - isn't there a caribou in it too (I thought I've read somewhere about it) - or does this belong to a different set? Well I've placed it there, but remove it when I was wrong.

I think Play Vision has done a Caribou, but I'm not sure of the set.
Maybe we can adding a photo for each model, it would be perfect! If you agree, I can help you get photos of various figures.
The large figures are usually part of the sets. Were sold set with one big figure and four small, others with eight small and two large, or sixteen small and four large, so I think there are two great figures for each set.
Big Jaguar and Amazon River Dolphin for the Amazonic set, for example.
