Excellent collection and beautifully displayed collection, Takashi!
I especially like the abundance of birds and small mammals. They're all made in Japan, I suppose, right?

I'm really happy to hear you enjoy the pics of my animals. rabbit monkey rendeer elephant

Kirill, you're nearly right ! Very Happy :)
Many of birds and small mammals, as well as reptiles and amphibians came from
Japanese brands, such as African secretary bird, masked lovebird and red-crested turaco(green bird next to Ana's bongo), Madagascar ring-tailed lemurs, Verreaux's sifaka and radiated tortoise..
I introduce part of them in the topic as follows;
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
But some of them came from Safari, Lineol and so on..

LukaLeon85, thank you for the question. Very Happy Very Happy
They're mainly from Schleich, and Safari, Papo, Mojo-fun, CollectA, Bullyland, Lineol and Anna Dobrowolska-Ozcko, and several Japanese Brands such as Colorata, Furuta's Choco-egg, Takara-Tommy, and Count Blue and so on..

Weaselfan93, I love Mustelidae, too ! I love you Very Happy
If you love sloths, I show them on the following topic;
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Luke and Christophe(Kiki?), I'll prepare his pics..Wait a minute ! drunken Wink

Your collection is a dream for someone that love diversity like me! Very Happy
Of course I enjoy to see herds of zebras and gnus once I am a crocodile but to see a lot of different species is more exciting for me. cheers
I'm glad knowing that Portuguese toy industry will continue giving us some diversity but of course nothing compared with Japanese industry! But all brands together make a fantastic collection and that's another virtue of your beautiful and interesting collection! Very Happy

Thank you very much, friends !! Very Happy Very Happy cheers cheers

Alvaro, I think Schleich's beech tree isn't so small; as folllows: Basketball
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

LucaLeon085, I have to add "Scence & Nature" from Australia. alien alien Very Happy

Roger, thank you for your kind word. :) :) Very Happy
Indeed Japanese companies made broad range of animal figurines, but their "Shoku-Gan"(means candy toy in Japanese) are usually too small and sometime very fragile, especially very vulnerable to kids' attack with desire for dissolution.. No drunken
I agree with you, diversity of brands & makers all over the world could make our world more fertile and fantastic !! sunny sunny

Sergey, he is Babyrusa, you're right.. pig pig :)
it's again from Count Blue. Here is his pic;
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Harriet, thank you very much ! : sunny Very Happy
Here is tamandua again ! (I think she is a little bit like 'Lisa' from 'Lisa et Gaspard'.. alien albino )

Konnichi-wa, Takashi-san. Beautiful figurines, and thanks for sharing photos. By the way, where are you in Japan (my late mother's family is from Nara and Osaka and I have relatives in Yokohama)?

Thanks for close ups! I love the pictures and specially the tamandua! I'm sure that creature, in 2-legged pose, inspired a lot of characters! South American fauna is fantastic! Very Happy
