Diorama - "Struggle for Water"... My fantasy on the occasion one picture...

Not long ago I saw one picture - Struggle some hippos and crocodile in wild nature. And so I desided to make thise scene on my table installation. The story: The great Drought began in savannah... Hippos occupied sole reservoir... But crocodiles can,t live without water... And began Great Battle!
(Buffalos, zebras, lion and monkeys supporting different teams!)

I do recognize some of those plants, they are artificial plants for the aquarium, isn't it?

The struggle for water looks great!
But it must be much work to dust this stuff off everytime, because it is in the open(not in a kabinet or vitrine)...

Although there slipt some "foreigners" into your scene again, it is a great idea to remake the real happening, it looks very nice, and it is fun to look at!

Now i saw too much struggle for water Sergey...
I think i was better to put those pics together in one tread, and then without the link, but with the real pics here, so we can see quicker through them, it would look like a little movie then...
And i think these pictures would suit better in the diorama-part, instead of the collection-part...

Ok it's not an hippo but I never saw the grey squirell monkey on this pic. Could you share a closer pics ?

Willy, I don't dust my models that are on shelves. I see it as a protective layer a.k.a too lazy to dust

... This is unknown brand from chinese child play-set. I do,nt like this model, I take it for number!

You say about hippo-baby on the background? This is Papo model, I,d like it too.

It,s not squirell monkey I think it,s saimiri-monkey from childe play-set "Wildquest Adventure" (and some my models - porcupine, armadillo, ant-eater, small (red) panda, striped hyena - from this set. It,s quite realistic? So, I am agree that porcupine look somewhat strange But I do,nt find the model of porcupine anywhere more! )
