I understand you once the sculpting fits better for a common sable, the neck and legs are not powerful as a giant sable and also the tips of the horns are not pointing downwards like in a giant sable. But, as long as CollectA calls them giant sables on catalogue I think it is more correct to use the facial markings of a giant sable.

Not all giant Sables have downward curving horns........that is the general image of one but they all vary

Yes Numaan, also not all (male) lions have manes. When designing a replica of an animal it is nice when we can get most of the typical characteristics of a certain species or subspecies. Mature male giant sables have horns curving downwards what is not found or rarely found in other subspecies. This fact doesn't mean that the CollectA is not a giant sable and I like very much the tips of the horns of the CollectA figure. Though, much more identifiable more interesting, I guess. So, I'm glad the brand changed the mask and it was only possible with your suppport and great work you're doing with the brand.

No worries, I understand what you mean. In fact I also wanted to have curved back horns but when the time came to mend the horns CollectA missed the deadlines and it couldnt be mended. It is my one own personal issue that I didnt get them to change the horns to a really curved version! I hope one day we can revisit and revise the Sable's for sure. It's one one of my future plans! but first things first. We need more birds, primates, reptiles and small mammals!
