Thanks for posting another great news for 2013, Paige. Very Happy
It is incredible, but this very common and known animal was never released among modern brands. I only can remember the McDonalds figure, that is almost as large as an hamburger. Laughing
I'm very happy seeing such a great hermine on market but this time I need to make a request.
I usually don't like 2 figures sharing the same mold. Mainly when they intend to represent different species or albinisms and similar.
But, I'd loved to see this animal also in winter coat, unless the fur is too short! :lol
Seriously, not only exotic creatures makes me very happy, also these common species, mainly when they are forgoten in toy industry when they are always remembered in fashion industry. Suspect Very Happy I'm really excited seeing this little cute evil released. Very Happy cheers

I would also like to see a white version. I normally do not like simple repaints from brands (the balack wolf from safari Sad he deserved a new mold at least) He is very handsome, and would look nice in a white coat, and yes Roger he is a very cute little thing, but still kinda devilish when you think of the real animal!

Very very good idea ! I don`t like white tigers or gorillas or lions or....but a white stoat is an ermine, so that is a quite different matter and perfectly natural and correct cheers

Roger, I know, You are very Mojo-positive member Laughing

Do You count Kaiyodo as the modern brand?! AFAIK they released not only 3 stoat figures (one for Furuta and two season variants for Suntory) but leaf weasel and Japanese weasel as well, all in perfect quality. I am very curious to see the real Mojo stoat figure if comparable with the Japanese companion bounce bounce bounce

Awesome! Thank you Paige, for introducing this!

Very exciting to see a Stoat on the market. Kudos to Mojo.

I wonder how big it is exactly? How does it compare in size with, say, the (lovely) mojo skunk?

I don't like to see my positiveness attached to a brand, I am very positive with good replicas what surely makes you think I'm Mojo positive. Laughing
Anyway, I'm not even commenting the quality of the figure but only the fact of being introduced in Mojo range what is surely a good idea.
Japanese sculptors have a huge advantage of working without restrictions related to safety rules. It allows them to manage with very fragile parts and give them the chance of making some figures with a more realistic looking.Unfortunately, sometimes they are also not of perfect quality. Unless the choco eggs I own. Sad
Japanese toys cannot be sold in Europe, for example. So, I usually don't group them with those Schleich related brands. They are modern indeed but very distinct. Maybe you can help me finding a better way to express my idea? studyVery Happy
I share with you the same hope of seeing a good stoat replica. bounce bounce

Same opinion. Moreover, common species make me even more happier than exotic ones, as they're better representing their natural zones.

And yes, how big is this figure?

The main difference between KAIYODO and MOJO is KAIYODO is still not making animal toys for the International market, if we forget K&M products.
No children in Europe or America can buy a KAIYODO stoat in a shop... It is a BIG difference IMHO Laughing

Now I would like to know the size of this stoat bounce Wink

Great photo Roger. I always thought we lack many European smaller mammals other than the usual badgers and foxes from modern brands. CollectA were going to make a Stoat or Weasel but I am glad Mojo have made this lovely little critter.

Will certainly be adding this and the birds to my collection. Very Happy

Numaan, European polecates are common, European, similar to stoats and also don't have a mane. Idea Laughing

WOW! Look at those eyes! So full of mischief! What a handsome little devil! This is a really great looking figure, particularly the facial details. Not that the body isn't nice, but that's not the really hard part to get correct; weasels have a very distinct face, and Mojo has nailed it! I'm really excited about this figure.

We know these little creatures need to be in larger scale. However, 5 cm for this kind of figure is small enough to result desirable. :)

Roger, I agree with you; that's a perfect size for a small animal. (Any smaller and I suspect Mojo wouldn't be able to sell it to children.)

4.75 cm= approx 1.87008 inches. So this stoat is going to be tiny! But it's perfect for the size! I'm VERY excited about this. I've said for years now that some company needs to do a stoat or a weasel. I'm so glad Mojo Fun is making this a reality! Thanks, Mojo Fun! Very Happy
