Thanks you all guys!
Of course i need more shelves and vitrines every year, as there are between 50-200 new figurines come in every month! Laughing Rolling Eyes cheers

Thank you Roger for doing so much research for me, and i am sorry to keep you out of your sleep... Embarassed
I guess we will call it a common garden-lizard(but Willylizard was a great idea too!), as it was ment to be as a decoration in the garden.(but he is housing right on top of my TV right now... Laughing )

The leopard is awesome indeed, it is a very nice piece of decoration in my living-room.
Important to me was, that it is realistic, as there are much polystone figurines that try to be, but fail in the end... Rolling Eyes

Very nice critters, Willy! They would easily embellish any display.

Thank you my nephew, haha! Wink

Those Bandai are really great, i wish i had them in my younger days when i was building miniature-zoos..., although they are in may different little scales, but great anyway!

The set you showed Zbyszek is from Playvisons, and not even complete, so there is more to wish for... Laughing

PostSubject: Some Schleich Classics copies came in last week...   Mon Nov 22, 2010 2:02 am

Last week, i had a strange lot coming in.
It seems as the manufacturer copied several brands in his production lines.
They are all made in a softer kind of plastic, more like the original Schleich Classics.
I hoped to catch some original ones with this lot, but they weren't... Crying or Very sad
The quality is less, they are not marked as Schleich, and they didn't came out good of the moulds, because they have a kind of cracks on them sometimes.
The strange thing is, that they used the Schleich Classics for the wild-life, and some older Hong-Kong models for the farmlife, although they were already copied by the Hong Kong manufacturer from another brand already.
But they are produced in the same softer kind of plastic too, which was much harder in the 1970's...
I am not sure in which time these copies were made, it could be the 1990's, but later in the 2000's would be possible too... Rolling Eyes
Here they are:

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
The whole lot.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Dolphin(Schleich Classics copy)

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Indian Rhino(Schleich Classics copy)

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Bactrian Camel(Schleich Classics copy)

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Crocodile(Schleich Classics copy)

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Lion(Schleich Classics copy)

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
African Elephant(Schleich Classics copy)

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Tiger(Schleich Classics copy)

The farm animals are in the same kind of plastic like i said before, but are all copies of 1970's Hong Kong animals.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Billygoat in white, which i had in a black hardplastic Hong Kong version already.
The original model could be from Timpo Toys Scotland, when i don't mistake... Rolling Eyes

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Cow in white, from which i had a Hong Kong version in hardplastic, made in black and white too.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Horse in brown, which i have in several colour-versions in hard-plastic too.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Scottish Collie in dark-brown.
I have this model in hardplastic since i was a child, but much more deetailed, as the first Hong Kong copies were very direct copies of the original models, and the (copy-)moulds were much better then.
With the years, you saw the deetails coming down in quality... Shocked

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Sow in white.
I know i have this model in pink from the 1970's too, but i still have to work on 2 collections on Collectors Quest, and the pig-section is one of them... Cool
