PAPO 2013!!!

even through Papo did not come out with new cat like snow leopard, ocelot or maybe clouded leopard. But the tigeress is really

Great standing bear--better than Schleich. I like the rhinos--and is this the first brand that actually has an indian rhino calf!? I love giraffes but not impressed with these...reminds me of Safari's. I feel the baby giraffe--if it is one--kinda big--has a cartoon face--maybe a repaint. eyes are very big and nonrealistic. Tigress is great! I also like the camel. Though I like some of them I will not be purshasing any new papo unless there are more. African collector.

I love the bear, gharial, and tigress. The rhinos and dromedary I will have to see first. My only problem is that I'm not sure if the painting is as good as it looks in these photos, the models are fantastic but as with every company I always worry about if the painting is as good, especially with complex patterns or in the tigress's case all those cubs. If it is these are probably among the best animals for this year (for my collection) and I am excited to see them!
P.S. I want to see more! It seems like collectors will be very spoiled this year! (finally, if you ask me )

Thank you for finding and posting these pictures. Hopefully there will be some more, so far I haven't seen any new species in Papo's 2013 animal range (they're new for Papo but other brands had them before). I'm a bit disappointed, altough gharial (wasn't gharial on Mojö's list!?!) and tigress look stunning! (o)):

i fear the current polar bear will be retired which imho the best medium sized polar bears. pyrenean bear may be retired or made as female as this looks as a massive male with good details on the face ,neck, chest,claws .

i think list it in the wildlife as the new grizzly as this subspecies resemble more like it when standing although any brown bear may also have the same pose or list it as pyrenean male

also i guess papo will list in its forest life 1 or 2 animals.

i now get a feeling that papo will revolve like last yr by repainting cows or releasing the same animal with different poses.

but this yr collecta and mojo satisfied every collector with new species that no one wil have to worry about the papo

the lying tigress foretells that onle day we will have a resting male lion for sure and if lucky a leopard in other pose.

also i guess soon their red deer,hyena,african elephant,chimp,fox,lynx,zebra will be dropped for new ones in the coming yrs.

i also feel good as papo releases only 1 or 2 animals new each yr and releasing last every yr maintaining a suspense and fun

does anyone noticed that the tigress has teats (nipples), also look at the footpad .very amazing details

I love the Indian rhinos and bear! Oh and that tiger..... I'm just speechless, the cubs are sooooo cute! I can't wait to see what more Papo has to offer! Thank you very much for sharing this!

Considering Papo's DISMAL 2012' Wildlife series let down....

Especially LOVE the Brown bear, tigress, Indian rhino, and gharial !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are still more than last year, and in any case I think there are more figures to be reveiled.

As I think someone else noted, there don't seem to be any animals that yet fit into the forest life category. One that I would really love to see from Papo that I think they would include in the forest life, if they made it, would be a Musk Ox. I've also really been hoping for a Snow Leopard from Papo as they are clearly the best with big cats, but I'm sure that would be considered Wildlife rather than Forest. Maybe we can hope to see an improved Lynx, Canadian Lynx maybe? Possibly a Roosevelt Elk?

Really excited though about the Grizzly Bear, Gharial, Rhino and also the improved Camel.

Here's hoping for a few more gems from Papo for 2013!

Is there any farm life. The one thing about Papo that i really like is their cattle.

I'm hoping there will be more sealife releases than just the polar bear (if you can say that they are a part of sealife). Other than that, the gharial looks awesome!

Yep, you're right. I realized that I had not considered that right after I made that post. In any case, they should likely have a couple more forest life animals planned, I hope!

Wow, the grizzly brown bear! He looks amazing, definitely the best brown bear figurine I've seen from any company thus far, and that includes my dear old Schleich ones! Super neat. Also I will be buying the polar bear, I think. but maaannnn that brown bear! Perch him on a rock and snap a photo, he looks real!
