PAPO 2013!!!

Well after seeing the catalogue , I'm going to reiterate again, how excited I am with this years 2013 Papo Wildlife assortment!
The standing grizzly, tigress, gharial and anteater are AWESOME! I also like the Indian rhino (Just wish it was in relative scale to the tigers), Texas longhorn(I collect bulls) and peacock! PAPO, you have redeemed yourselves after last years disastrous inferior figure assortment (Except for the beautiful running t-rex) and have rebounded (Like I thought you would and knew you could), with a SPECTACULAR 2013 assortment!
With the strong competition of Mojo and CollectA, Papo will need to put out figure series like it's 2013 assortment every year!

****2014' keep to your strengths(*CollectA & Mojo can stick with their strength of antelopes, and other hoof stock to satisfy collectors)...more big cats(Resting lion and lioness, resting male tiger, snow leopard, clouded leopard), a male gharial, and a grizzly ("on all fours" to compliment standing grizzly).
Wish list of new/updated figures:
*Malayan Sun Bear
*Spotted Hyena(Update)
*Caribbean flamingoes
*Western lowland gorilla (Update/new position)
*Baird's tapir

Oh... I can see chewing dromedary is gone :/ Have you noticed any other retired animals?
But I love Papo this year... Ent-eater, tigress, giraffes, gibbon, longhorn, charolais cows, polar bears, indian rhinos... wow! 2013 is a fantastic year for new animals :)

tigeress with cub is selling at 14.50 USD. I supposed the paint job must be superior and finger crossed now.

Perhaps they are also charging more by reasoning that it is actually two separate pieces (the tigress, and the cubs). I don't know if this is what Papo is thinking, and if so, whether it's justified; I'm just putting it out there as a possibility.

I think papo did that with cheetah and cub too

Yes they did do that, at least when I bought the cheetah and cub together (in like bundle type thing) I don't remember how much it was, just that it was expensive, and the cheetah cub was really small too!

Takama, thanks for posting the pics! I still say last years running t-rex was their best figure and best dino to date! The new carnotaurus is nice, but think the allosaurus is better. However, enjoy them all!!!!!
