I think it would be nice to decide for Arctic OR Antarctic animals, what do You think? Very Happy
Mixing penguins with polar bears on one diorama is quite unrealistic as they come from two different sides of the world. Probably Arctic fauna is more diverse and there is more figures of animals from there. You can check out [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] (among them polar bears, harp seal, reindeer musk oxes, Arctic terns, belugas, Snowy Owls, wolverine, grey whales, walruses, orcas and narwhales- all of these have their representations in figures) or [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] (few species of penguins, Antarctic fur seal, crabeater seal, leopard seal, Southern elephant Seal, Wedell seal, albatrosses but also whales such as Humpback ) Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Anna is100% correct, it would be a much better diorama if you select only one pole. Another thing to consider is the fact that there are no trees, if that is important you could always do a forested diorama in winter if you want to place trees in your scene. There are a lot more species available for a snow covered forest, just keep European and North American species separate, although there are quite a few that live in both. You could even include bears if you model early spring or late fall, both would have bears actively feeding, and you could add new growth coming up through the snow for spring or fall colors to show an early snow before the bears hibernate.

Arctic wolves, arctic hares, musk oxen, various seals and whales,reindeer/caribou, etc. Thats about all i've got. If you go with the snowy forested idea then you could include (as mentioned before) bears(in late fall or spring) deer, bison, mt. lions/cougars/pumas, assorted rodents and birds etc. etc. Good Luck!
