Who is the first Schleich human to jump over the Schleich hedge? You guessed it! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]More photos of my latest aquisitions on the blog: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]I also bought the moose cow and calf!I am very very happy with them. There was no purpose in buying the male too.The older one looks very similar(only the colours are different)and has a more apropriate scale! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]It was hard work to beat Torben, but I am first!!!

Congratulations! And how do you like the hedge? - Wildheart wrote:

You're right about the scale, but the painting of the older moose is poor - it's brown all over, including horns and legs, which is not realistic. _________________ Owners of miniature zoos on shelves, unite! My collector's blog

The hedge is fantastic!I feel the foliage, literally! It is not just hard plastic! The paint-job is also very fine! It also fits perfectly inside the box,and it doesn't need assembly! Agree with the brown-all-over thing!Still, schleich could have repainted it as with the giraffes! Why need a new model? The new bull is so small,it looks dwarf even besides the cow!

I think this year schleich is doing something for us, not only animal figures, also new human figures and acesssories. I like even the Tränkewagen - Water trough, Ponykutsche und Ponyreitset - Pony Carriage and Pony Riding Set and the Koppelzaun - Paddock Fence.

Thank you for sharing the photo of the hedge Mihnea and using the man to show us size comparison. Very nice hedge. Now I will have to find some. I look forward to using it as a fence and having the horses peer across it at each other...of course if they really wanted to they could jump it and join the ones on the other size ~

Although smaller then the mooses before, they look nice, i think it is about time that we have to forget about scales, as no modern manufacturer seems to use the same scale all the time...
