Here's something I forgot I had, an old advertising for the Kaiyodo Natural Monuments collection. It has a string on the top so I think it was supposed to hang in a store window. Its too bad it got a little warped in its transit to the US last spring.
It also contains the following natural monument figures:

#1 Iriomote Cat
#2 Japanese Crested Ibis
#3 Rabbit
#5 Dugong
#7 Serow
#8 Frog
#11 Japanese Dormouse

Very nice set!
You can make the carton straight again by ironing it, just spray a little bit water on it before with a plantsprayer or so. Wink

Thanks!
The carton is made of cardboard, is it safe to spray and iron that? I'd hate to ruin it. So far I have had a little luck just laying a heavy book on the bent part.

Often people are to afraid to do something... Rolling Eyes
I collected paper-money in the past, and i did even iron that!
But you can start carefully on a low temperature, and without water if you like... Laughing

Nice collection you have there.

I'm still trying to collect them all but it would take me a very long time. Guess that's what makes a hobby exciting, isn't it?

I agree! It would be a shame to have every piece of your collection and nothing left to look forward to! I myself am still searching for the wolf figure from this set, he is the last one I want from natural monuments.
I hope you are able to get them all someday though! Very Happy

Yeah, I'm still waiting or at least, dreaming. I'm expecting the giant skink to knock on my door anytime soon. Either the bongo from the Japanese Science Museum or the giant salamander, is the next on my wanted list.
