PostSubject: Mojo animal differences    Mon Jan 21, 2013 3:34 pm

Before I got the package from Mojo last week, I had already had the Giraffe adult and calf, hyena and wild dog. I noticed differences between the ones I already owned and the ones that James sent me. I know a lot of people notice this will brands, but this is my first time.

The new wild dog has brighter white spots, a tanner back and different face (you may not be able to see.) I do like the Mojo wild dogs, because of their running stance and size, but I prefer the paintjob of the Safari Ltd wild dog. I think Mojo needs to add more white coloring to their replica.

The newer hyena is darker, kinda greenish tan, and has a different neck stance and lighter face.

And take a look at these two giraffes--they look like they are different subspecies...and maybe they are supposed to be. One is more orange and circular in spots and the other is tanner/browner in spots and more rectangular. I also had the calf and got a new calf. They were the same. I immediately noticed the calf's spots did not match his orange-spotted mother!

What types of thes mojo animals do most people have?

Thanks for opening this topic. I believe not many people have Mojo variations to show but it is interesting to see the work the brand is making to improve their figures. Very Happy
Mojo is not a top selling brand yet so it is hard to put on market extremly complex paintworks but we know that the brand makes always their best to give us the best quality possible.
The hyena is particularly interesting. Very Happy Very Happy

Interesting! I think thats why most of us have 'doubles'.
I think other brands have some difference in their animals too.
And do I see a 'K' spot on one of those wild dogs?? XD

Collecting variations can be alsmost impossible, when you have to buy new models online.
The sellers use the standard pictures , and neve notice if the models are similar or not  scratch

Sometimes I take the chance, like with the moose here to the left. Wink
Unfortunately I can not see much difference, - a little bit on the paintwok.
But I am happy to have got him, as the right anler on the first one is  bent.

Much more luck with the beautyful Iberian lynx ! Very Happy
I love the model so much that I would like to have two, and look !
This one ( to the right) is a real variation  cheers
