2013 Griffon Vulture

Hi All

Just got a few of the new 2013 Schleich figures - my first purchase of the year. I'm pleased with most of them, but am fairly underwhelmed about the paint job on the new Griffon Vulture. Not inspiring at all! Hardly any paint on the head - just a few dabs of black for the eyes and nose.... so disappointing, looks half done - especially when it's sat next to my nicely painted Peregrine falcon (German one).

Mine is made in China (all the new ones I purchased this time are China made - the vulture being the most disappointing paint work - tho my panther isn't as quite as good as I'd hoped either - ordered online, so couldn't see what it was like prior to purchase). Anyone know if there is a German version for the vulture? I might take a punt and order another from a Germany shop.

I have tried to get hold of a German made one , and Yvette tried to help me, but so far ..no luck

Well, I'll hold off on trying for another one just yet then. Still I had a good time fitting in my new Schleich figures in with the rest in the case.

I've searched everywhere and the China made version is the only one available so far!
