PostSubject: The deinotherium came to Denmark :-D   Thu Feb 28, 2013 7:40 pm

Some weeks ago, the new Deinotherium from CollectA joined us here.
Now he has setteled so well, that I dared to take him outdoors, thinking he won`t run away, - but, gosh! He is very noicy Shocked Laughing
Here he takes a view of the suroundings, shouting abuse at all the moles Wink

He met with the Megacerops. Hmmm. It could have been fun if they had not had almost the same colour scratch

The megacerops begin to get restless, - he got enough of having pictures taken last year Laughing

This time there is not much to discuss about his private parts...have they gelded him ? Shocked Laughing

I am a bit sorry thatCollectA has changed from the nice, black elastic band to ordinary, cheap looking plastic Crying or Very sad
It takes a bit of the Luxury-feeling away, IMHO.
The elastic band looked better, and was easy to take off and on Neutral

Anyway, I like the fellow and hope, Martien has got one also Very Happy

I agree with Andreas, the first picture gives a feeling of realism that helps a lot the figure. This is a great presentation of this deinotherium. Thanks for sharing and congratulations for having them. Very Happy

scratch But there is something in the neck I don't understand. Maybe I'm absolutely wrong but I think it is a bit to low under the shoulders.

Wow, great pictures! Congratulations on your fine addition, Susanne!

I like it very much that you take your pictures outside, the natural light does so much difference!
The figure looks so realistic in the first picture!

Thankyou very much, Krista Very Happy

Yes, the light outdoors is so much better, esp with dark models, and especially when t is not bright sunshine ( Rarely a problem in Denmark Laughing )
