i guess its really better to concentrate on just 1 or 2 animals, and get some on the sidelines. am planning to concentrate on horses and cattles. but of course the animal kingdom has such great beauty, so i would say, all living creatures are beautiful. :)

I've started my collection with horses, but later I've bought a leopard and I thought that it would be a nice idea to have all wild cats, later I thought that it would be nice to collect all species of animals which appeared in The Lion King, Jungle Book, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, etc... So now I have lots of horses and lots of wild animals It is really hard to stick to only one line of species...

hello Alvaro, yup that looks like a Philippine water buffalo, theres also one called the "Tamaraw", which if i remember right are getting few. I think theres a preservation area in the province of Mindoro. :)

hello, here in a Philippine store, i got them around 3 to 4 years ago, unfortunately, i think its not available here anymore, new ray did a very good job on their animals, thanks.

There's no water buffalos among major brands. That's the reason why many people is asking for it, including myself. Old version of Schleich of this cape buffalo is often mislabeled as a water buffalo but obviously it is not.
About the new Schleich version, it is a very nice figure in many aspects. It is only not my favorite because it doesn't show how mighty these bulls are. Papo and Mojo worked better in that point although Papo exagerated a little!
Any subspecies of Water buffalo would be very welcome!
