I always remember Chap Mei as exagerations of Papo style! So maybe I have a similar perception of TQ about this oviraptor. Surely, much more accurate more interesting scientifically is a figure but as I commented on other treads, a dinosaur figure that represents an official perception of an animal at a certain moment can be also a very interesting piece. I enjoy to see how velociraptors have developed in their toy shape in such a short time. Very Happy
I didn't know about these Hayakawa figures, thanks for sharing! Very Happy

You can accept a friend request clicking on profile (on top), then click friends and foes (top right) and you'll find an accept button with the respective friend request. Click on it and that's all. Very Happy

LOL! Funny looking indeed! Thanks Roger! Very Happy

Got some Safari Ltd Carnegie's from the surplus shop. Sadly both the Tyrannosaurus and Elasmosaurus are badly beaten up. Only the Allosaurus is OK.

Nice collection! I'm very jealous of your Kaiyodos... At first I didn't recognize the Schleich trike in the first photo - you made it look so good! Very Happy

If you're looking for nice minis I have to recommend the Safari feathered dinosaur toob. While the paintjobs leave something to be desired, the models themselves are gorgeous and very accurate.

Lovely figures! This is the cutest velociraptor I ever seen. I was trying to find a pouch with a baby but suddenly I noticed that ears are too short for a kangaroo. Wink Laughing
I like the triceratops and spino has a very nice and artistic texture. Very Happy
Thanks for showing! :)

I like them better than the Sega Dino King figures.

You seem to know a lot about dinosaur anatomy. Which Triceratop figure in your opinion is the most precise at the moment?

If you want to include other dinos, I would love to know them too. TIA! Very Happy

You're right Susanne, but according to the new book of Gregory S. Paul, although I have not read the book entirely, the colors on some dinosaurs can be determined.

Very cool dinos! That Invicta tail-dragging Rex is somehow an immensely graceful figurine. The Sega models seem ever so awesome - I like both Ceratopsians and bright-coloured dino renditions especially, and that Torosaurus makes me droool...

Ok Susane! Here are some of the things I know about Hayakawa. They are a toy company in Japan, probably a small one and their dinosaur toys are listed in Dinosauriana (I mean as a company making or releasing dinosaurs).

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

This is the second time I've seen a batch of them, so most probably, they are only sold in Japan. They measure around 1-2 inches in length and probably made in 2010, according to this:

Hi Tylo! In fact, when I saw your Kentro, I immediately wanted to have one. So, I was ecstatic when I saw one at our Toy Convention here! cheers

Wow! Thanks for the info regarding that 2-pack. I never knew it was a 2 pack. Saw them loose, bought the Torosaurus and left behind the Kentro, which was lacking one leg. Sad

Thanks koniminiatures! I can't resist Invicta's charm specially when they a priced right. I like my Happinets more than the Segas. I have plans of completing the Happinet line.Very Happy

Thanks Sumo! I've read somewhere that you teach these things at school. Would love to learn a few things (maybe a lot) from you.

What books would you recommend? TIA! :)

Schleich Brachiosaurus - 2002

I maybe wrong, but I believe this is a Kaiyodo Dinoland 1/100 scale Allosaurus. It is made of resin and only labeled Allosaurus under the base.

TFL! Very Happy
