Welcome here Thierry Very Happy, I wish you will enjoy our international village !

This Brown bear is a CLAIRET, it looks a bit like the STARLUX 53 and was also used as a Polar bear.

Here are the CLAIRET

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

and the STARLUX 53

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

By the way, Jean Hoeffler were distributed in France but it is a German company Wink

Thank you for posting your collection Thierry.

Do you know if the Clairet African elephants are the same, the grey and the white one with the trunk sticking straight out.  Though they are in the same pose to me they look very slightly different, the white one has a shorter neck and slightly different face?  Or maybe it is just the angle of the photo?

Andrew, it is the same model, both elephants were available in grey or Ivory.

Thank you for the comparison pictures Thierry.  I can see the difference which you mentioned, I can now see that the abdomen is slightly different from the top view along with a few other very small details.

These pictures are helpful as I hope to add this model to my collection one day.

I guess if a manufacturer produce this nowadays, it would be soon under arrest scratch
Shocked Ça c'est très moderne et incansable! Shocked
I hope this poor crocodile was not used as a symbol of colonialism. I thought Reisler eagle hunting a fox, Johillco fox with goose or the remarkable vintage Spanish secretary hunting a serpent were among the most radical vintage figures. However, this one beats them all. Shocked
Ahah, now I have a suggestion for next Show us yours! Idea bom Very Happy

I'm not kidding Rogério Wink  I remember the African boy had variations... The short was blue, green or red Shocked

Clearly not a human child, Christophe - time to see the optometrist...Smile
No need of an optometrist Phil, I had Jim Crocs with African boys in the past. I sold them... For a lot of money. No need to collect that What a Face

I thought the Clairet was the "Indian line" bison... Are you sure it is a wisent ?

Be careful with this one, avoid any contact with your other plastic models and even with your hands What a Face

The JIM heron has a very nice old style Very Happy
