Special Mojo News

James Connolly shared some information with me that he also said I could share with you guys. As of the end of this September Hobby Lobby will exclusively have the first range of human figures for the company, some Wild West themed figures. 2 cowboys and 2 Indians which pics are below. The range will be introduced as 2014 newbies.

Having grown up on old western movies and having grandparents that are ranchers, so these are awesome figures in my opinion. Thanks for viewing and enjoy!

Amazing! I'm not much into Western films, but I have to admit I love how those models are made - look at those details! Those folds on clothings! Bravo!   

I agree, the detail is great. I also like how authentic they look, the clothes look great for western time periods.

wow great. I love the first cowboy, he doesn't look like.. how do you say it .. a Hollywood cowboy but more like someone you could really met somewhere on the prairie.

Wow, their expressions are very lifelike. I now want to build a late Autumn diorama with that Squaw woman, a pack pony with a loaded travois, and a curly-tailed little cur...

Do you know if that are all this western figures for 2014?

These are the only ones I am aware of. If there will be more for next year its not that long of a wait until we find out, only a few more months.

Lovely! The 'squaw' is especially nice.

That cowboy with lasso looks utterly handsome! Very good human figurines! Not too big heads or too cartoony, I think. Their proportions seem good!
And I like very much the western theme, now Ana's Appaloosa can get some owners

Paige, thanks for hsaring these beautiful figures. I did know from them already some time ago but it was in a different context. Of course I wasn't allowed to share or I would surely do it.
As someone commented before, I like that these figures look like the real persons and not like some movies. After a first year where Mojo was criticized for some lack of originality. The brand is working its design in a very genuine way, This year the prehistoric mammals not based on any particular popular documentary, and in 2014 a Western line with more anthropological than cinematographic interest. Figures are also full of personality and very detailed. Unless two of them are on my wish list.

I LOVE the Indians! I'll definitely be picking them up at our local Hobby Lobby. My minor degree is in anthropology, with an emphasis in American Indian studies, so I love these sculpts, obviously. Just beautiful!

and when comes the 2013 line out???
