PostSubject: CollectA 2014: DINOSARS - Stegosaurus Corpse (88643)   Fri Jul 19, 2013 1:27 pm

Dear fans and collectors

I have pleasure in announcing another 2014 Dino model.  Following on from the success of the Triceratops corpse CollectA have decided to expand on this idea and create a dead Stegosaurus. It represents a defeated animal that has lost it's life - how that happened is entirely up to your imagination but it it may have died after a fierce mating battle with another stegosaurus or a fierce predator.  Either way it is a sad end for this animal and hopefully an unusual and exciting addition for dinosaur replica lovers out there.

Really nice for this figure but it is the same that the triceratops. I find it less nice for this new model. However, I love the 2 first pictures with carcharo. and Watusi.cheers cheers cheers cheers

Hmmm...dead Stegosaurus, nice! But,who have ocurried that maybe we'll see a North American Jurassic predator to be "the killer"of this Stego?I can imagine them releasing, for example,Saurophagax, to make a diorama with this.I think that would be great, you could form an easy diorama fitting CollectA Saurophaganax, this Stego, and the Diplo;all this accompanied with some trees!
Saurophaganax would be,sincerely,a MAGNIFICENT candidate to be the killer if that great Stego!Very Happy
Looking forward for this Stego and, please release Saurophaganax,oh,CollectA please,do it!I would be enormoooously excited.Bravo for this Stegosaurus,CollectA!!lol! cheers Applause

I hate to admit it, but love the corpse items--we need some for African animals for our vultures and predators.

I am not a huge enthusiast of this kind of figures. I must admit the first version was a interesting idea, and surely if CollectA keeps with this kind of figures it is because it is successful! Though, I hope CollectA is not starting a cemetery series! affraid Again many thanks for presenting, I feel there are loads of good things coming! bounce bounce

Ufff, another "great" dead-corpse! Certainly a must-have for every young deviant or plastic animals home-cemetery builder...

I am able to understand the production of small-sized horse/cattle cadaver figures for war or Wild West dioramas but this one as standalone toy for kids?!

Sorry, CollectA, DEFINITELY NO APPLAUSE this time Sad

I love the fact that Collecta are realistic about animal life and death. Every figure in this range so far has been a great sculpt. Well done Collecta. Wink

If CollectA releases an American Jurassic predator for complementing it(such like Allosaurus,Saurophaganax...)I'm pretty sure I'll buy it for making a diorama. If they don't do that and there are more relevant figures...I'll think it myself better. But I like the figure,I agree with you guys,I think it is better than the dead Triceratops
