I recently found those on ebay. All in their original packaging. According to the pictures i expected some small PV-like plastic monkeys,.....But i received those: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Regardless the material, i definitely like the snub-nosed monkey and i will repaint it soon. i'd also be interested in the slender lori and the cotton-headed tamarin. In the picture you see (from left to right): -Potto (Perodicticus potto) -Hamadryas Baboon (Papio hamadryas) -Diana monkey (Cercopithecus diana) -De Brazza's monkey (Cercopithecus neglectus) -Golden snub-nosed monkey (Rhinopithecus roxellana) -"Rufous-handed howler" (Alouatta spp.) Unfortuntaly, neither the packaging nor the seller can give information about the year they were produced. I will trade the baboon if someone's interested.

WOW!!!!! They are absolutely fabulous, - AWESOME I wonder if they are not from Max Carl, de compagny from DDR and was expropiated by VEB Plaho in 1952 ? In that case, the factury was shut down in 1972, but the monkeys may be made much earlier

Those look like peach fuzz material figures to me! They could prove difficult for a repaint. I have 12 of my own peach fuzz figure horses. Nice figures indeed. If you play too rough with them, they can get dirty easily and lose some of their fuzz.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Nice figures, the felty and fuzzy texture is so adequate for these kind of animals :) But probably some of you noticed that in this image, they used a photo of a crowned lemur and called it a slender loris, they used a photo of a red colobus monkey (probably Zanzibar's one) and called it a cotton-headed tamarin, and they used a photo of what it seems almost sure a Lac Alaotra gentle lemur and called it a potto _________________ My collection:- (Details):
