| I recently went to the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Here are some highlights...sorry for the chain-linked fence photos. Of course my camera died when I started witnessing a young Grevy zebra playing with the large male giraffe--jumping up and nipping his butt and kicking at him. It seemed like it was play as I think the bull could have kicked the youngster open! I wish my camera was working...it was something you never see. It was late in the day and I was the only one at the Bongo exhibit and the family came closer to the fence with their month-old baby. Dam those camera batteries! | The Grevy Zebra seems to be pregnat on that pic-I like the Masai Giraffes-beautyful subspecies. And the Leopard is also a very special animal-they are original african leopards ! |

| Gorgeous photos! I just love the photos of the bongos, I wish our zoo had as many diverse animals as the Boston zoo has. I would love to see creatures like bongos, amur leopards or tigers _________________ Kelsey [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]"Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened." ~Anatole France |
