Shocked I can't believe bidding is up to $500! It started at $14. affraid Must be pretty rare, but I wouldn't pay that much no matter how bad I wanted it. Laughing

I suspect is Volvo brand name that is contributing to this huge price, Schleich is a strong name but Volvo is much stronger. Shocked

I haven't seen this before, but I agree - I wouldn't spend that much!

I thought the same - most likely Volvo collectors are paying more than the Schleich collectors.

Well, that model is in perfect condition, even if most of those very old ones break the wire almost if you just look at them.
AND obviously extremely rare !
I think the volvo-brand is not very important, - there are collectors who have hundreds of bendies and perhaps never have even seen that one before...they buy perhaps one or two models a year, so unlike some of us ( Rolling Eyes ) who spend a little ever so often, they go for it, if a real rarity turns up Very Happy
