Schleich 2014 first news!!! Possible retired figures on page 1, Bayala page 3 and horses page 7

Well, that "Giraffenpferd" is actually a Trakehner Mare according to this site [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and look at some other upcoming horses! And I thought last year was bad!

That's exactly what I thought!
The falabella gelding looks very much like Bullyland.

Looks like I won't be buying horses again in 2014.

I think they are awesome and better than the ones this year. I LOVE the arabian mare!

I'm probably going to get them, just because of the "collect them all" thing I have going. But... Those are really hard for me to wish for, even for me. All those braids and that arabian... Creature. I guess Princess is going to meet Barbie.

edit: another update, I'm not going to talk about the frisian... But the shetland mare will be fine once that hart-thing is removed

Unbelievable     Trakehner horses     It's so wonderful to see this wonderful, old, traditional race again.    

The Falabella and the Arabian and Knabstupper foal also look fine to me.

The Shetland ponies, the Islandic horses and the Friesian mare are gorgeous too.  

But the Trakehner stallion and the foal melt me away     

Ohh They are not like I was thinking..... They look like papo horses, or any other brand, but not schleich... Probably when we will see it in reel life, they will be good but They are different...

I always thought the catalog photos are a lot worse than the actual product. I hope I'll be the case with these horses as well. Looks very promising! - to me at least  

But I really dislike all those braids! Especially they could have been left out on the arabian, as she/he looks good on the rest.

Trakehners look promising. Their colouring is interesting.

Cute fjords. Maybe a bit too cute  But still, catalog photos can be deceptive.

And hey - the Shetland stallion is just a repaint? And WHAT is that heart on the mare?

EDIT: Friesian mare updated! Despite braids, she looks to be the best IMHO, as she looks to have good proportions, which means more body than head.

Trakehners look to have way too big heads. Though the stallion looks quite neat

Certainly Princess is going to get some hard competition, not for my love - but for being the most cutesy girlish freakout in Schleich history

  What's up with the heart on the Shetland mare?!?   Oh, at least I can laugh - I'm not crying yet!

The only one I like out of the whole lot so far is the fjord stallion. He looks great in the photo, but who knows when I see it in real. The Shetland foal I might get - I need to see that one in real as well. I don't like the face of the fjord mare, but I love how it's not a cut mane as usually seen. The Friesian mare looks like a poorly sculpted prego mare, but that might just be the angle of the photo. Unfortunately Shetland gelding is just another repaint - I won't be rushing out to buy that one.

I have to say these are slightly (only very slightly) better than this year. At least I'm saying I will probably get at least one of them - much better than the 0 of 2013!

It looks like there is some dispute over the Arabian mare.

Hmm, Schleich seems to be doing 14 of everything so far. 14 horses, 14 Bayala...
