My Recent Additions for an Amazing Price

Not to long ago a very exciting package arrived, inside it two figures I got for an unheard of price!   

It always drives me crazy when sellers put all of their figures in a big lot and sell them together for a very high price.

This seller had 9 Schleich figures put together in a lot, all of them fairly common except for two. (At least in the US, these are hard to find - I don't know about other countries  )

Without much hope, I asked the seller if he would take those two out that I wanted to sell them alone.


Surprisingly, the seller was very willing to do this! And he gave a very shocking price for them too!      Shocking as in good, that is.   


So I had done this several times before with different sellers, and each time someone else bought it before me.  We worked out a system that hopefully I would be able to get this one in time. This was a set I really, really wanted.  


He was in a different time zone, and by the time he said he would be home to list them was when I would be in a meeting.  

It was listed though, and I still got it during a break!  

For the price I paid, I didn't expect much. I figured they'd have tons of rubs...

but, look!











They're almost new!    


I had been looking for the basset ever since I knew about it, and the kitty was an added bonus.  


My real basset, Happy, likes her new friend:

(Please excuse poor Happy's raw skin - she has been tested to be allergic to literally everything, including her own dander  )




I can't believe I finally found these!

Those are two of the  really hard-to get models, and prices sometimes go very high !
Especially when they are in such a nice condition

Unfortunately there isn't much we can do for Happy but give her healthy food and baths! We tried the allergy shots, but they did nothing except for emptying the wallet. Though she is much better now that we found a very good quality dog food - not the junk they sell in pet stores.

Thanks Tim! Yes, I was very pleasantly surprised when the seller gave me the quote! And the way he worded his message it sounded like he thought that was high price. He definitely didn't know what he had!
