Ok, First museum i wish to share about is the Denver Natural history museum in Denver Colorado.
Its a amazing place, but photographing there exhibits (at least for me) was a pain due to the lighting.
Please note some of the pics will be missing, until I can get them back up
Enjoy
upon entering you will come across his majesty
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]In that same room, if you look up at the ceiling you can see a couple of Plesiosaurs
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The ones in those two photos are the same specimen
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]and the only one i got of the second one, which is going after some fish.
Before you enter the museum, you must place something in this Kitty’s mouth (i forgot if it was tickets or money)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]There is a ton of stuff to see in this place, but im only covering the bits that are prehistoric. The entrance to the Prehistoric area is marked by this cool looking sign
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The first things you see are obviously from the Paleozoic era,
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I believe this is the Cambrian Explosion
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]and the first Dioramas you would encounter
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Soon you will find the skull of a recognizable fish
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]and a small segment on fish turning into Amphibians
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]as you make your way through the exhibit, you can "Litterly" look down at the future
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Here is one of my favorite Displays. Dimetrodon VS Eryops (its also the first time I seen Dimetrodon in person)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Seymoria
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Now this is what I believe to be a Permian Diorama. If you just look straight at it, all you will see are some vegetation and rocks, but if you peep over the railing, you can see some hidden creatures
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Now, you will be inching closer to the famous, with this Second level view of the Mesozoic
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]To start off with the Dinosaurs, you are greeted with this amazing diorama staring a pair of Fighting Stygmoloch
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]and a little turtle that’s trying not to get squished
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Right after that scene, you are greeted by Giant Apatoesaurus,
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Now this room contains a majority of the Exhibits Dinosaurs,
Ceolophisys
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Acheopteryix
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I cant remember this Ankylosaur, i think it was Euplocephalus, but im unsure due to its back pattern
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]here is some skulls of some familiar species, (with a Human being for Size comparisons)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Edmontosaurus
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Group of Hypsiys
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Running away from the most Bad@$$ scene in the whole exhibit
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Allosaurus
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Stegosaur osticles
and a second Stegosaur Baby
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Above your head, you will see a flying Turtle (protostega)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]A resting Geosternbergia
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]A small Nothosaur
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And the Ammonites.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]There are more Sea creatures but you already seen them in a previous photo.
Now you made it to the Cenozoic Era, and as a start, youll meet this pair of Lemers
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]and the Controversial "Terror Bird" known as Gastorinis
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]In that same Display, you have a Uintatherium skull
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]and whatever this is (hyenadon?)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Not sure about what these where
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And i think these are Pigs
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]AHH BIG KILLER PIG
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Deer?
Here is a bunch of Mammals that i cant identify (as you can see, I suck at mamals)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]A nice skeleton of Equus
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]A Deinotherium, Stynethocerus skull and something else
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Obvious little fellow
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Deinotherium
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]and last we have a photo of my Aunt Carman(who i must thank for taking us here in the first place) and Grandma Lucy,
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Miraculously, there are two more dinosaurs in the museum, but there are in the museums library. Are these Famous?
