Arrakai's new Safari - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: The month of safari   Arrakai's new Safari - Page 3 EmptyFri Jul 08, 2011 10:54 pm

June was realy safaris month, with over 60 new safari-animals to ad to my collection Very Happy

First of al, three magnificent Wildlife Wonders!
They are all great, but I think the tiger is my favorite

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

The charmeleon is almost too colorful for my taste, but the flying squirrel is an exelent figurine, as well as the horned lizard and pangolin (I especially like the squirrel and pangolin because they are not hollow Wink )

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

The north american river otter and octopus, I got from Willy in a trade, thanx Willy Very Happy
The sea nettle is cool, exept that they put black numbers on it, that is very visible Evil or Very Mad
The black widow spider was a bit of a dissapointment, I think it´s too big, and I think the legs should be harder.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

next, the exotic birds toob, and some animals from a farm toob.
The birds are ok, but the coloring could be a little better.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Some new horses. Most of them (exept the haflinger, lustiano and brown arabian) I bought from Willy. I like all of them, but the two big ones in the back have a very special look, and I just love them cheers

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

The birds. The turkey is realy majestic, but the legs were a bit bent, so it stands a little wobbly.
Nothing else to say about these, other than that they all are realy great!

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

The reat of the animals I got. The possum with babys is realy good, as well as the reat of them Rolling Eyes The ram looks realy majestic and the platypus is realy life-like (exept that it has a golden belly, witch is a little strange scratch )

@Roger; Yes, the safari birds are something extra I love you Soon I have al of the wings of the world, but I still miss a few of them bounce
Yes, I´m pretty sure it´s not hollow. The hollow ones feel diferent and are often very light, but this is a realy massive figurine Very Happy

@Christophe; I took these pics yesterday, so they are already stored away Wink
It´s very late in the evening now, but I´ll see what I can do tomoroow Very Happy

Wow, you added a big amount of horses to your collection! Once again, may I ask you to post some pics of the lusitano (the white with black mane and tail), please? I´m sorry if I´m asking for lots of pics... I´m planning buying them but I would like to see different angles before buying them, because sometimes I don´t like them once I got them!

Phu, now I have finaly taken al the photos you wanted (I hope I didnt miss any) Very Happy

Here they are;

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Lustiano for Sylobe; (it´s a good figurine, but the black numbers on the belly is very visible, wich is a big minus)

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Turkey, cocarel and eagle for Harriet;

The bald eagle is an exelent firure, with a lot of details. Here with the old schleich eagle.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
The turkey is about the same size as the schleich turkey. Here with the schleich ducks
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
The safari phoenix rooster is one of my favorit roosters, and it has perfect size to fit with the schleich and papo chickens Very Happy

Not for me but thanks for your pictures, opossun in my doubts list, I'll continue with my Papo platypus even this is nice, but is missing a bald eagle, how is it possible the old Schleich has a head even larger than the Safari one! I'll wait for Mojo but this one looks nice also!
I love this American turkey, already in my wish list.
A Lusitano is always welcome even with numbers! But.. no more horses! :)

That Lusitano will be a good one to repaint! I love how does it looks, but I don´t like very much the paintjob. I think I should look for him!
