Years ago I bought one of those clear bags with the red zippers on eBay. It was sold to me empty. But now I wonder, what was this sold with? Was it sold alone, or with figures in it? I always thought it was sold with figures inside it, but now I'm second-guessing. Would they really stuff a bunch of figures in a bag? What years were these bags produced and sold? Where were they sold? Does anyone have some more info on this bag? All I know about it is that I keep my Schleich catalogs in it.  Laughing

If its the bags I'm thinking of I think they had small sets in them. I.e. farm animals, forest animals, etc. like 5 or so. However, I may be wrong on this.  scratch

Yup, I'm pretty sure that would have had a few farm animals in it. If I remember right, there would have been a cow/bull and calf, a dog, maybe a sheep or goat... Not entirely sure exactly what all was in it. You could try searching for "bagged sets of Schleich" or something on Ebay.  scratch

I have one of these bags too. mine was full of rare retired schleich figures. they were set aside as the figures were retired to sell later. I found mine in a store in Oregon. I bought it for $5 from the store owner. this was more than generous because it included the brown pelican!

 Laughing Laughing They were pretty common for a while, but then they all disappeared. scratch  It's been quite a while since I saw another one in the US, the last one was a long time ago but was sold with some more common figures and the brown pelican!  affraid Of course, the bid on that one went very high!  Laughing
