| Yes, still just horses. But don't worry. You don't need to look I don't already have one for general addition, do I? I searched anyway and did not find any. Hopefully I'm not spamming the forum with new topics all the time. Wanted to create one for general things anyway, instead of posting one new for every brand I get I guess. Yes, you got me, Susanne, I bought myself some Bullylands They took me by surprise with how nice they are. Not at all as rubbery as people made me believe they where. Pinto and württemberger. I like how the later looks so relaxed with his back legs. They are so lovely and wonderful. Tho I did get the wrong pinto. I like the other painting of the same mold better. My bad. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Some nice little fjords. I do very much like the foal. Just to bad the mare was scratched then I got her But I do love the details they put in, I really like the chestnuts on all the Bullylands. Even the Safari have them, and just to control I looked at some of my Schleich, who also have them but never painted. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I also got two Safari LTD horses. The abaco barb was sold out at the moment, so I got the lustano instead. All nice and cosy in their plastic bags... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]... Until the fiercely spotted cat rips them all open... and even take of their tags from around the necks... they where to irritating, okey e:)For some reason the lustano even missed the other tag. Strange [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I actually like the Bullylands more than the Safari horses. The Safari ones had as I have been warned not the best of paint jobs. And they both was a little wobbly, not standing perfectly straight. And the lustano had some paint laying very thick, hard to explain and impossible to take photos off with this specific camera (it is broken... sort of). And here comes some comparison shoots. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Schleich fjord, you are still my favorite fjord, even if Mojö and Collecta are trying their best to win [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I don't have the new Schleich icelandic. So feel free to not complain. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Lustano with andalusian... because they fit together better. | Congratulations for your new horses. I think it is a good idea when we keep our additions in a single topic. With so many activity it is hard to follow everything when things are split around. :) I don't have a single Safari horse, honestly I like them in pictures but if in real they have the poor looking painting of some wildlife figures, I understand why you don't appreciate them. :) I enjoy your pictures, mainly the last one comparing the Safari Lusitano with the Schleich Andalusian mare. I am tempted to say that the mare is prettiest, though, when I look to their legs and hooves, Safari look less massive and finely sculpted, maybe it is only a visual effect once mare is closer to the camera. Also, they are easy to compare once Andalusians and Lusitanos have similar conformation and while the Schleich has a slightly ponyised looking, the Safari seems to follow a little better the conformation of an Iberian horse. |

| How wonderful to see some great pictures of Bullyland horses What a shame the Fjord was scratched. She is such a lovely model ! PS, It seems that Safari is saving the little tag on the latest made models ... |

I do like the Safari ones, it is monstly just nitpicking. But, yes, the paint job is not very great. The sculpturing of them are very good tho. I'm not at home right now, so I can't compare them IRL. But I think the Safari did have thinner legs then Schleich. Andalusian and lustano was registered in the same stud book til 1966, then they splitted up. - SUSANNE wrote:

| Very nice photos and additions! I like very much the Bullylands. They look actually very sweet with lots of personality. Indeed Safari horses have a horrible paintjob, when comparing to other brands. Quite a shame, as they do some very fine sculpting! _________________ ~ Portfolio & Online Comic ~

| I'm in love with these two safari ones. You can't see it very well in the photos, but the abaco barb sadly have some scratches and kind of... discoloring. Might get a new one someday. But I'm at peace for the moment :) And I'm incredibly in love with that arabian. The front and head looks so nice most of it <3 [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Thank you everybody! Kind of sort of have been in the middle of moving, so it is a perfectly reasonably reason for missing some horses in the pictures. Right? Anyway, lots of Collecta coming here. Almost whole collection of Collecta. Missed the tennessee walker foal and grown up frisian in this photo... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I love roans. All kind of them. So I just had to have the roan version of this mold. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]This handsome fellow is the hannoverian stallion of the group. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Here with Schleich hannoverian. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Thoroughbred, it was as usual a hard struggle between the black and bay version. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Just look at that face! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]You shall never get rid of my falebella ponies. They shall be everywhere! Oh, and wonderfully sculpted shire mare! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]With Schleich percheron. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Got the Schleich shire stallion for christmas. Here in comparison with the older one. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Scratched fellow, no full body image. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Oh, and an non-horse! This beauty is also a Collecta, a red setter. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Here in comparison with Keenway Bernese Mountain Dog and Schleich older German Shepherd. The Shepherd was one of my first Schleich I got as a kid. The Bernese I also bought as a kid. I had a picture of them with Safari Ltd white wolf and african wild dog, I do wonder where it went... | What a wonderful herd of new horses TSC! Collecta really is the number one right now. Those hores are everyone just fantastic! All the details and interesting colors... The appaloosa is very nice, the face is adorable Funny that the Schleich new shire looks like a toy compared with the Collecta mare = D The setter is also so good! I've seen it once, but great you have it now! Many many congrats and thanks for the great photos again! It's everytime a joy to see them _________________ Jonas Animals are my friends. | Collecta horses are wonderful, aren't they? And I totally understand your trouble with choosing between the best colour for your horses. I've bought most of the Collecta horses you're showing recently to repaint, because that's what I like to do in my free time. And funny enough, I had trouble choosing between the two Thoroughbreds as well. Because I want to repaint them, I always buy the colour that's less appealing to me, so I don't feel any remorse. So I decided to buy the black one... But when I received it was so damn gorgeous, it took me over 5 weeks before I could finally pick up a brush an do it!
The Shire is one of the horses I couldn't repaint, and the Appaloosa is my favourite horse from Collecta, because of the perfect stance and expression. I'm sorry about the blamish on your Friesian, it's such a beautiful, elegant figure.

| You got the whole stud farm at once, then. I quite like your picks from the Collecta horses - and your photography certainly does them justice. |
