Colorata animals look wonderful!
It's so strange to hear that Netherlands almost haven't Safari ltd. Even in my coutry we have it («even» is because figurines are something new to russians indeed) and some new animals will be available in September.

Well, it isn't that big, but just bigger than I'd expected I don't have any of my other anteaters here at the moment and I'll be away next week, but I'll show a comparison photo the week after!

I'm not sure if it is a crow, but it is a bird feeding its chicks in a nest. Here is a closer picture:

Yes, I hear a lot about Safari Ltd in other countries, but I don't know any shop here that sells them. The local shop where I get most of my figurines sells the Safari Ltd Good Luck Minis, but that's it. We have Schleich-S and Papo here mostly, and some zoos I know sell a very small range of CollectA figurines. For other brands I have to buy online.

I bought this little nest at a Miniature and Dollhouse fair. So yes, it is a dollhouse attribute.
I don't know the maker, nor the brand. So... XD
If I ever go to an other Miniature and Dollhouse fair, I will bring some more nests with me

Here she is, together with the Papo giant anteater:


She's just a little bit smaller than the Papo one

Ofcourse I have some new additions as well Last week I was camping in northern France (Montmédy) and one day we visited the Parc Animalier de Bouillon in Bouillon (Belgium). They had a little shop with lots of resin animal figurines, but after searching through them for a while, I found some plastic ones as well! I bought two of them, and I'm so happy with them, for they were both on my wishlist <3


And on the 5th of May is Liberation Day here in the Netherlands, and there's always a nice flea market here in my village (instead of a flea market on King's Day). I was in France that day, but fortunately my mother went to the flea market and kept an eye out for me She brought home lots of deformed made in China animals, but she found some very interesting figurines as well Here is the first she found:


I couldn't find more about this one on the internet, so if anyone can tell me, I'd be very happy

I think the rooster and hen on the last picture are old Schleich classics ! Very rare and beautyful, - without marking as far as I know

I love that little Japanese horse, very unusual, - and the giraffes, - lots of great models

The BC looks indeed more detailed, black and white colors instead of the black/brown/white mix XD

Beautieful additions Julie, my especially favourite is the K&M red river hog :)

yes big congrats on them all especially the red river hog. now you need to collect the rest of the K&M congo set. the other pieces are the okapi, mandrill, leopard, viper and gorilla.
