Question about Gold S schleich logo

I recently found a bison figure with a gold S schleich logo stamped on the animals rear. Does anyone know why this figure is marked that way? I have never seen such a marking on a schleich animal figure before and I can't seem to find any info.

The old figurines only have an "S" Symbol for Schleich.
Since the 80`ties they stamp "Schleich"
