Iberian Lynx

I am very happy to present my new figure. This is a male lynx walking and the lookout for prey. It is the smallest of the ones I´ve made on a scale between 1/18 and 1/20.

The Iberian lynx (Lynx pardinus) is a critically endangered species of felid. The Iberian lynx is most prevalent in the Iberian Peninsula located in Southern Europe. They are categorized as critically endangered by many institutions, including the International Union for the Conservation of Nature. The Iberian lynx is a rabbit specialist with a low ability to adapt its diet. A sharp drop in the population of its main food source, a result of two diseases, contributed to the feline's decline. The lynx was also affected by the loss of scrubland, its main habitat, to human development, including changes in land use and the construction of roads and dams.

Formerly considered a subspecies of the Eurasian lynx (Lynx lynx), the Iberian lynx is now classified as a separate species. Both species occurred together in central Europe in the Pleistocene epoch, being separated by habitat choice...

Jonas and Florian Yes I make copies of all my figures for those who are interested. For example aurochs and bison cost 60 euros each plus shipping .Please send me a message If you want it !!.

The material used is a resin (Super Sculpey) modeled by hand and cooked in oven. Then you can paint with acrylic or silicone molds and cast in polyurethane resin to make copies. It is a very entertaining but also exciting work.

I would be interested by one of your wisents but before I must get more money because I have other priorities at the moment (I made different preorders) and it cost me a lot of money

It is surely a huge challenge to make an Iberian lynx in such a small scale. This animal is full of details and your figure represents a great commitment. It is not only detailed as the pose is striking.
