How will you know what colors to paint it if it is so rare and only seen at night....it looks grey in the picture, but maybe it is white with black markings...or could it be pink with green spots?

Dear anonymous poster, the cheetah pic is clearer than your avatar!
In a common website like wikipedia we can find this description, it helps I think!
"The Northwest African Cheetah is quite different in appearance from the other African cheetahs. Its coat is shorter and nearly white in color, with spots that fade from black over the spine to light brown on the legs. The face has few or even no spots, and the tear stripes (dark stripes running from the medial canthus of each eye down the side of the muzzle to the corner of the mouth) are often missing. "

What a magnificent description of that rare cheetah... When I first saw it I thought it was a new species of big cat!

Species and subspecies are purely conceptual... now some organisations are trying to turn various subspecies of giraffes in species!
And scientists think that some animal species are only subspecies!
That's a very different looking cheetah and very intersting to members, some other members have beautiful customized king cheetahs even they aren't representing any subspecies characteristics!
And this is the only place in the world where exists a zebra stripped anteater, too!

Have you noticed how tiny the head is? and man this cheetah is so skinny! not much food around there in the harsh desert!

Fortunately she has this characteristics, as you know are climate adaptations! Be fat and furry are not nice characteristics to high temperatures! But if you want, new avatared Gab, I give her some contacts from a restaurant of Sahara! And, in Portugal we have a cake called "bolo areia" meaning sand cake!
