Difference in Knabstupper Mare Stock Photos?

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this before, but it's been bugging me

Why does the horse in second stock photo have one boot on?

They told her to show up for this photo shoot from Schleich
and to look her best, she decided to wear her anklet?

I've noticed that too I was wondering the same... The picture with the boot was in the catalogue many years if I remember correctly... Pretty odd =S = D

It is exactly the same photo, they just photoshopped the boot onto her leg. The same as they do with the tags that are sometimes in photos and sometimes not, while the photo itself has not changed.

The photo with the boot on is used in Schleich's website. That same on without the boot I have not seen in catalogues here, these are the ones used in the collectors catalogues:

2007 up to and including 2012:

2013 up till now (2014):

I understand that but why did they put a boot on there? I don't understand why they would add the boot that doesn't come with the horse and is not even a product they sell.

I never noticed that before , - perhaps the one in Gascher's is a private photo, and the one who made it forgot to take the bandage off ????

The boots were sold by Schleich. They were released the same year as the knabstrupper mare (2007), as part of the riding set 42020 (show jumper, excluding horse):

I don't want to argue with you but the boots pictured on the Knabstrupper look nothing like the boots I have from the riding set

Yes they even put it on wrongly I still don't understand, why?!   

I also noticed that, but just thought it was really strange   Very interesting to investigate why they put that one boot on.
