| As some would like to see: Here's a short tutorial on how to make a halter Pythagoras, the APH, is going to help me guide you through this tutorial : )
What do you need? This is what you need at least: Round nose pliers, scissors, glue,(thin) Iron wire and ribbons diagonal pliers
Basics: making buckles The are two main buckles for tack making. The little rings and the "8's" (that's how I call them). For making the 8's one can easily use the round nose pliers by use one half of the nose for the first ring...
... and the second half for the second ring. It now only needs to be cut off. To make it flat I always use the the following part of the round nose pliers (see image). For the little rings I make something that looks like a spiral spring this way you can quickly cut off the rings. After flatting the rings your buckles are done. for this halter you'll need six rings and one '8'. If you don't like how the buckles look or if you just don't like making buckles, you can order professional one on the internet._________________ Anne-Joke ajs.artistry - Instagram AJs Artistry Shop - Etsy

| The Noseband The first piece to make is the noseband. We start we glueing a ring on one end of a ring. To make sure it attaches firmly you can use the round nose pliers and just hold it this was for a minute or so. This part will be the upper nosepiece. there needs to be a ring on the other side too. This is how it should look after the two rings are attached. For the lower nosepiece you need to hook on ring into another. Make sure they can't be pulled loose again the lower nosepiece looks a lot like the the upper piece, but you attach it to the rings that are already attached to the upper part. And the two connected rings are connected to the lower piece like this: This is how it should look like. You only need to pay attention that it should be easily removable from the horse's nose _________________ Anne-Joke ajs.artistry - Instagram AJs Artistry Shop - Etsy |

| Great tutorial, thank you for sharing! Excellent photos too! - A-J wrote:
- Its basically the same. The only difference is that you need to cut strips of leather first, and you'll need thin leather. (or you can order it online)
I typically skive my leather, as the leather I can buy isn't thin enough. Plus it eliminates bulk. |

I know this technique exist, but one way or another it doesn't work for me I guess my knives aren't good enough... _________________ Anne-Joke ajs.artistry - Instagram AJs Artistry Shop - Etsy |

| tnx A-J I figured I had everything I need at home, so I tried making some: The second one up there was too big so I "relocated" it to a more appropriate horse |
