Some new Safari models for '14 , - Hippo, Rhino, White Bison and Pandas...and a funny UFO ;-)

Please let me show you some mini-walkarounds of my new Safari models from 2014   

My absolute favorite is the white buffalo :

Compared to the recently retired buffalo from Schleich :

The well known, old hippo has got a nice competitor this year :

Compared to the newest hippo from Schleich ( Sorry, the colours are not too good on the last picture) :

New black rhino . In the catalogue he looks a bit silly, but the more I look at her, the more I love this model
( Except the paitwork . Why, oh why could they not have painted her nails   )

Two new pandas, - nothing offencive there   
First Mamma-Panda :

Bison is really a great sculpt and the white color turns it very attractive!
About the rhino, I know it is not an accurate figure but I feel that I want it, a feeling similar to the mighty Papo cape buffalo.
Hippo is nice but Papo still keeps being my favorite.
Giant panda looks an excelent figure and gellyfish is a good idea!

Very interesting figures I appreciate the action pose of the rhino, it's nice to see something different than the oh-so-common standing pose.

UFO jellyfish. Ha! Good one!

sorry Susanne, I don't really like them    I couldn't get warm with many safaris

But I see you are happy with them

very nice additions. 2014 is good year of Safari.

I like specially the white bison.

Congrats Susanne, I like the hippo very much but I have to say the buffalo is my favorite too...

In the catalogue, the 2014 pandas' nail are painted   I thought for sure they would have painted the eyes as well   The jellyfish isn't too bad, but I think it's tentacles would have looked better if they were made similar to the glow-in-the-dark jellyfish.

I love the Bison! Looking forward to getting one myself. I like the hippo more than I expected. Although I've been more excited about the Papo 2014 Hippo (Cow), I suspect the Safari Hippo is more the scale that I'd prefer.

Great photos Susanne! The comparisons are really helpful.

(And of course Tim's version of the Rhino is super.)

I wonder if anyone has noticed that both the new Wild Safari hippo and adult panda actually have mirror reverse poses to their respective larger Wildlife Wonders counterparts?

The Whit Bison and Black Rhino are really lovely models    -form the wish list!!

How'd I miss this topic? Thanks for the pics Susanne and congratulations! I love the rhino, I just wish that catalogue pics would be more true to the actual figure. Sadly, they mess it up all the time (for better or worse).
