I think there some more, I would call rarae, but this is a good "best of" of my rare animals I guess :)

Great, the most birds i have too. But are you sure that the lion cub is Schleich, or a Fremdserie?

It is the Vanishing Wild lioness and cub, so Fremdserie :)

Yes, composition. I have heard, but I'm not sure, that Chialu composition included a hefty dose of bonemeal.

This is my rarest figurine, tough it doesn't belong to my collection. It's a brown kiwi that my mother gave me as a gift after returing from a trip to New Zealand. She bought it at Kiwi Encounter, a live kiwi holding facility in Rainbow Springs, New Zealand. I doubt that this figure is sold outside of this facility. It don't have a brand and it's made of real animal fur (maybe goat pelt) over the plastic piece.

Surely a wonderful rarity and I believe the silky effect of the fur is absolutely amazing in real.

I was asked to post it and I also promised it in an earlier post. Older members already know it but my rarest branded figure is this Mojö Fun lion that was never released. It was sculpted in 2010 to be released in 2011. It arrived the final stage and there was even an official picture. However, according with the manager of the company, he disliked so much his own work that he decided to not start the production and consequent distribution of this figure. Among the 5 (i guess) initial samples they preserved, one arrived to my collection as a kind gift of the manager of the company. We have now some superb lions like the recent Mojö one or the Papo roaring but back in 2010, the scenary was quite poor regarding male lion figures.

Does this count as a rarity? I've been trying to find the other Soma 1986 rubber Glow-in-the-dark dinosaurs everywhere and I just can't find any! Even this one, I can't see anywhere. There are none on EBay, none on Amazon, none in flea markets, none in this forum… it's like I bought the only one existing in my childhood. So, if I can't find any, it's because it's a rarity. And if it's a rarity, then it belongs here. No?

Obviously they are extinct in the toy world. You are lucky to own one of them.
