| It's cute but I just don't see the point of hybridization in this case... _________________ Robert

I read the article and it seems that the mother was very lonely and so they let her be with other animals and she really liked the donkey |

| Because this has nothing to do with wildlife conservation. I'm also against hybridization, that only has something to do with money. That's like white tigers, white lions and the mix of animal subspecies. But by the white felines, there is a lot of inbreeding. |

| Its quite a while since I have seen a zonkey born in a zoo.I remember as a child in the 1970s seeing one for the first time in Colchester Zoo-have a zoo postcard with it somewhere-.At the time they seemed popular but as zoos got more conservation orientated then animals like this weren't bred anymore. The zonkey I saw looked just like this littel foal. |

| Well well well.. A massive conversation about this. I don't think its so bad to mix one lonely zebra mare and some mr donkey. That small fellow with a couple of stripes isn't that bad. As long as zebras and donkeys wont completely die out that's okay, they're both horse animals. And isnt that kind of things happening in nature sometimes? I believe zebras and donkeys won't die out till this world ends. _________________ Jonas Animals are my friends. I don't eat my friends. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |
