Clams of AAA

I thought that in my collection was missing many molluscs and found some.

Yesterday arrive these two:
CLAM:

Yes, there are very few of these ! I have an AAA whelk, - and then thre is the toob by Safari, - but I have never seen these beauties before

I believe I can find in my homeland some figures from this collection of large AAA mollusques, they're the same but sold branded as Yolanda. I've never seen kids interest on them, though, as my homeland is traditionally a turistic place with several sea food restaurants, some buy them as decorative pieces.
Congratulations Fernando, is not usual to see collectors getting these figures but they're just animals as all others.

It is hard to show in a picture, - it looks enormously real, the shell is a sort of..hmmm.."Brittle-white"

I do not know how big these are in real life where the models are from, but the whelks in Denmark are ( usually? ) not that large

These are really beautiful. I suspect they may have been cast from real specimens. AAA did that a bit, I think.

Actually, these figures were available in two sizes. I have the big version of the jack-knife clam, but a smaller version exists.

Please, one model with something to compare size with on each picture.

I have a little "please" for you, - I hope is is ok ?  Is it possible that you can include some little,  wellknown item in your great photos, so we can tell the size ?
( I have the ulterior motive , that maybe we may use your photos for TAI )

Of course, you can use my pics for TAI! Some of my pics are already there. The only thing I ask in return is to be credited for my pics. As for putting an object besides the figures, maybe I could do it in the future. But I am not courageous enough to re-photograph all my already-photographed figures and re-put them in Photobucket. Too long of a job and I do not have my own computer: I use the computers of the local Library, and the time allowed to each user is 2 hours maximum...

With AAA we hardly will find someone with complete collections so we have to get pictures from several collectors or it will be impossible to have good number of figures at the Wiki. :)

Of course you should not take all those great photos again !!!!
I surely know how much time it takes to make good photos, - sometimes I spend a whole evening, and can only make, say, 10 photos that I like
