| Did the Replica Saurus become the standard dinosaur line?
Of the few I have seen, they seem very similar. I read that the Replica Saurus series was made in collaboration with a university.
What happened afterwards?
Anybody know? |

| ReplicaSaurus was done to scale. It's been discontinued and replaced by a new series that is not necessarily to scale. The first release of them were smaller versions of some of the last ReplicaSaurus series. They have since added new ones that are different from any previous species/poses. _________________ Tim :) ToyAnimal.info - The Toy Animal Collecting Wiki Animoblog Animobil.info Playmobil Animals

| Thanks Tiermann - I have seen a few Replica Saurus models still available for sale, hence the confusion. They do look nice.

Did all the RSs do that ? Yes I think so, and I am very jealous of anyone who has that little man. He looks so nonchalant. You can't buy him separately. The whole deal with the Replica Saurus was that they were developed with the Natural History Museum of the Humboldt University, Berlin. So the educational aspect was important I guess. Here is a gallery of all of them!: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]The quality of the painting seems to be much higher than the newer ones. And they has better postures.
