| I have been looking for the old Bully Siamese cat for some time. Tanja (Chayenne) was kind enough to contact me, that it was on ebay, - they had spelled Schleich wrong, so it was very hard to find this BULLY-cat The newer one for reference to the right : But this was dangerous, - now I was looking through the Bully(land) figueres on Ebay, I ended up buying a whole lot. Here are some of them : A new friend for the old cocker : Two of the nice 1 : 12 -scale birdies A red panda, - funny ears An old unicorn My Cheetah-kitten got a mummy at last : A Java rhino, - worn, but cute This strange creature was irresistable : My monkey (in the middle) got two new old friends: [/URL Two black horses. Horses are not the strongest side of Bullyland, but these came along with some other figueres, and I rather like them : One of my very first Bully-figueres is the swan with grey babies, it has been here for many years, - now I found one with yellow ones And a squid + some sort of snail-squid, - I am sure somebody can tell me the names of them ? [/URL I also got some very nice old dinoes, but this must be enough pictures for now |

| Nice bunch of models! (And no, there's no such thing as "enough pictures". ) I think that snaily squid thing is a Nautilus, I have the same one. |

Yes, - only it is a colorpoint Europé , - European shorthair - also called housecat Breeders of siamese cats have crossed "cat-cats" into the siamese breed to get other colours masks, - and to improve the genetic versatility, I think. Maybe you already know this, but the gene for colourpoint is reccesive, so it is not untill you cross these back to siamese that you get masked cats (in prinsiple 50% of the kittens ). But if you cross the original crosses, 25% will also have masks, even if they are not build like siamese, so these are one originn of the colourpoint European shorthair Thank you, Ken, and Tanja, too, you are both very, very kind and really good friends This cat I MUST have |

| Here are some more from my latest harvest, - some very used and some new ones Two cute guinea pigs, - I think there are at least 2 more to look for Two big bugs : Two cute, old doggies : Two little old ones, - I like the camel, it is not often you see one where the humps are not standinng fully up : Two hawks, one is somewhat used, but that is ok : The vultures. The old one is funny, the legs are made separately and glued on A huge panter, it has a cub, but the seller did not have it : A large pinguin And the Akhal Téké , - again, Bullys horses are nothing special, but I like this one anyway I will try to get pictures if the dinoes later, - try It takes a lot of time, and the critters seem to know that I am busy, so they play all sorts of tricks on me while I try to concetrate, - just like little children |

| Thanks for the link, Roger ! I thought I knew everything about the Akal-teke, but now I lerned something more. It is often very dumb to think one is clever Terrible how this ancient breed is troubled by really serious diseases due to in-breeding . Maybe with modern technology they can spot the genes that causes it, and take the carriers out of the breeding-stock. But that is expensive Yes, Philip, I, also think this figuere by Schleich is fantastic ! One of the best they have ever made, perhaps, wow! |

| Great new additions Susanne! Your shelled squid is a Nautilus indeed. The Java-Rhino seems to be the baby, there is an adult model too i believe from the catalogues. The black horse standing was called a Hannoveraner in the old catalogues, it came in 3 colour-variations. I really love the heron and macaw, i develope a love for the bird-models more and more... _________________ http://www.collectorsquest.com/collector/1313/willybacoman
