| I call these small walkarounds, - this means that should anybody want to add pictures, repaints or comparison pictures, she/he is most wellcome Three new models have joined my beloved Mojos First : he Border collie is made by Anna, - her first dog for Mojo, and I love him Unfortunately the paintwork in the face makes his nose seem long and his eays a bit small But look at those ares Fine proportions, - a lovely dog Here he is compared to my model, which Anna has painted, - the head is really wonderful All idyllic : A dog and his sheep The heifer is no longer a heifer. She is now a cow, because she has her first calf As you can see, she is still not fully developed, - perhaps she is also the old fashioned kind, which were not so sturdy Fantastic sculpturing of her long coat...it is spring, of course, and calving time, so she has shed most of her thick under-wool : Look at those horns They are the kind you see on older paintings of this magnificent breed ! Her lovely calf, - perhaps two days old ? The cutest little tail Compared to the Highland cow and calf from Schleich, - thay are more the modern kind, which you see at shows and such, - older, too _________________ SUSANNE

| Wow the Highland cow is wonderful but as always the painting is Congrats Susanne :) Ps ; Is it ok if I do a walk-around of sun bear, cheetahs, lemu, boar, komodo dragon and macaque? I ask that because you've probably already these Mojo figures and I know the pleasure of making walk-arounds (I don't want to destroy this pleasure) _________________ My Facebook page : https://www.facebook.com/The-Golden-Bearcat-309766575879328/?ref=ts&fref=ts

| To be honest I'm not a big fan of that dog. The cattles looks really nice, but Mojo needs to change the paintjob on them. I think a two years old child could paint a cow like this one. _________________ Bryan |

| Susanne, I understand that probably that cow should be more massive but I don't remember seeing such a pleasant cow figure with an artistic level close to the excellence. other two look also great to me. florian, walk around topics are not exclusive to anyone. Surely you can present others. Why not the sun bear next? maybe we keep the macaque to Christophe once it is his project amd I'm sure Susanne will love to present the lemur. |

| They are great! Congratulations. The only thing I would change if I was mojo would be a little color change. They are uniform color, the whole way, even the hooves. They still look good though. _________________ "Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the number of moments that take your breath away!"

| I like the dog, although the paintwork in the face is not my taste. The model Ana painted is much more a BC look <3 _________________ ~Karin~

| Thank you for the walk around Susanne! Great photos! I'm glad you anyway like the cow and calf, even if she is too thin. The factory painting could be better. I wish the hooves of the cow and calf were painted in more greyish or darker colour. I think they look like nice small herd with Schleich ones somehow, aren't they? Interesting how much Mojo Border Collie is smaller than his resin version. _________________ Anna Horse and Bird studio - Horse sculptures My model horse collection

| Wow, the paintjob looks horrible on all three models! But luckily the sculpt is fantastic! I have no interest in dog models, but I have to admit the collie is great And the cows! Wow! Far superior to Schleich ones! Now Ana just needs to make a bull to make a family complete! And maybe some other cattle breeds as well? I'd love to see a good Jersey cow! I think I might but a few cows to repaint them into various colour variations - Highland cattle isn't only reddish brown! http://www.bairnsley.com/Colour%20-%20basics.htm _________________ ~Magda (formerly Mangalarga) Blog | Facebook |

| I'm so happy to see some good photographs of the Border Collie. Mojo doesn't do a great job of photographing their own models and I really couldn't make out much from the photos they released. Looking at Susanne's pictures of the Collie, I am really impressed with the sculpting. What wonderful work Anna! It is really impressive. I also love the size. I was surprised to see how small it is, from the comparison picture with the Sheep. I personally think it is perfectly sized!
All of these models are exceptionally sculpted. The factory painting, however, leaves a little bit to be desired (as others have noted already), especially the Highland Cow. I agree with cattlecollector here: it's too uniform. I'd love to see a repaint of the Highland cattle! |
