| Well, I've spent the last 8 years with collecting fish, reaching well near a hundred of them. I also have tons of dinosaurs, but companies can't seem to make the small ones look nice. And birds, I have pretty much everything I need. I need to collect something new. I am referring to a different group of plastic animals, so don't worry about me quitting the most enjoyable hobby I've had. I have decided maybe I should step out of my comfort zone and try collecting Safari Ltd Dragons. I hope to place my first order soon. Any tips on collecting dragons? This is entirely new to me. _________________ Emma MY SEARCHLIST EBAY STORE TRADE LIST My Instagrams: Personal Page https://www.instagram.com/olympus_593 Concorde Page https://www.instagram.com/speedbird.concorde Collectibles Page https://instagram.com/supersonic_trilobite |

Or which brand was it.. Xo Anyway good luck _________________ Jonas Animals are my friends. I don't eat my friends. |

I don't know almost anything about Safari dragons but will they reveal some new ones next year? Or which brand was it.. Xo Anyway good luck Thank you! They are releasing a desert dragon, a guardian dragon, and a chrome dragon. The chrome seems to be a remold of the swamp dragon. They are so expensive though! At least on Safari's site. I'll probably get mine from the local hobby store or Amazon. _________________ Emma MY SEARCHLIST EBAY STORE TRADE LIST My Instagrams: Personal Page https://www.instagram.com/olympus_593 Concorde Page https://www.instagram.com/speedbird.concorde Collectibles Page https://instagram.com/supersonic_trilobite |

OK so you're 14 years old, so maybe not quite the time yet, but perhaps soon, time to start thinking about collecting something new OLD. I mean really old, maybe not even plastic , but lead or composition . I certainly hope you don't quit "the most enjoyable hobby I've had", but trust me there will be social pressures to do so by the time you're 16 or so. Your friends are likely to consider it a childish hobby (they won't know about the many adult collectors), and tease you about it. But they (as non-collectors) will probably be aware that vintage/antique toy figures are valuable collectables, having seen them on antique themed TV shows. A few 'antique' (well, 70+ years old anyway, which is close enough) lead Britains or composition Elastolin animals on your bedroom shelves should silence any negative comments from visiting friends in a few years time. |

Hi, I kinda gave up on the dragons a long time ago. I am going to continue my fish collecting. If something I do not yet have comes my way, I'm happy to grab it. Anyways, I don't like vintage animals very much. I only have one, and it's a little plastic squirrel. It was my dad's favorite plastic animal as a kid and now I have it. I am going to collect things that are different, but still "close" to what I already collect. For example, freshwater fish. Stecal is going to send me some. But anyways, thanks for the tip. Though, I do not think the age of the figures would really change my friends's opinions on my rather obscure hobby. _________________ Emma MY SEARCHLIST EBAY STORE TRADE LIST My Instagrams: Personal Page https://www.instagram.com/olympus_593 Concorde Page https://www.instagram.com/speedbird.concorde Collectibles Page https://instagram.com/supersonic_trilobite |

| I don't think you need to "give up" on collecting something new. There are tons of different things to consider. For instance, Safari has lots of toobs and minis that wouldn't take up much room. For me, I say I "only" collect wild animals and farm animals, though when I see something else I like I get it one way or another (i.e. dinosaurs, I have some dragons and fairy stuff too, or ocean animals). This summer I went to an aquarium and we visited the best toy store after and I decided to have fun with my graduation money (after I had bought text books for college) and I decided to get a horseshoe crab from safari, the coelacanth from safari, and a postosuchus from safari because those were animals I had admired for some time and wanted in my collection. You don't have to collect just one thing. And sorry, this came off much more preachy than I intended... Anyways, keep collecting fish. I admire your unique collection since the only fish I have are two of Schleich's ocean tropicals from a decade ago. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. I think I'll grab the Toob Dragons, but I have discovered something on eBay that I plan to get. It's got a fish in the lot. I bought a set of colorful fish back in March 2014 and there was suppose to be 12, but I only got 11. And I finally found the missing figure to that set. I'm buying soon. _________________ Emma MY SEARCHLIST EBAY STORE TRADE LIST My Instagrams: Personal Page https://www.instagram.com/olympus_593 Concorde Page https://www.instagram.com/speedbird.concorde Collectibles Page https://instagram.com/supersonic_trilobite |

| If you're after small dinosaur figures the Kaiyodo Dinotales series can't be beat. |

Not a fan of fragile figures. _________________ Emma MY SEARCHLIST EBAY STORE TRADE LIST My Instagrams: Personal Page https://www.instagram.com/olympus_593 Concorde Page https://www.instagram.com/speedbird.concorde Collectibles Page https://instagram.com/supersonic_trilobite |

Not a fan of fragile figures. A good amount of them are actually fairly sturdy. Safari LTD also has a few nicer figures that are small (like the Kentrosaurus and Sue at the Field Museum Anatotitan). |
