Mojo Komodo dragon, - new for 2014.

At first glance, this is a very simple model, but take a look ! It is full of nice details


Compared to the ones from Papo and Schleich, - did you know they could be so colourful ?  
Unlike the others, the dragon from Mojo has not been crossed with a snake

I ike it, but the head is a little too long. All scales are the same, that looks quite boring. And color isn't my favourite on a comodo dragon. But I think I would buy him.

Nice model, but I think that the skin texture of some Mojo animals must be improved, as happens also with prehistoric mammals.

As I said, I am starting liking more and more that figure. I enjoy the movement of Papo but in Mojo's we feel a real varanid. I also like that the color is somewhat different, better a real color that almost nobody know it exists than a false color that most people think is the real. Thanks for pictures and comparisons. I'd love to see it pictured together with the Colorata but I know you don't have it.

I mentioned liking it in person, and here I am looking at your pictures- I think I will have to get it, after all.

I can understand the feeling about the the texture, but, while the scales are large, they do suggest the appearance of the real animal, especially on the neck and torso. The main appeal is the overall expression, a sort of naturalism or serenity, that is present in some of my favorite Mojo models.

Next to the Papo, it is surprising how each can be convincing, yet so different. The Papo, slightly more gracile and with bolder color, feels a bit like a younger individual. Judging from pictures, there seems to be, like many species, plenty of variation to go around. Both would look nice repainted (while retaining some of the aspects of their respective paint schemes).

It's a very good Komodo dragon. When I unrwaped it, I was really surprised by the figure because it is very good about the morphology and with a lot of details. It's a new must-have Susanne

Great and interesting picture. Maybe you're right about the Papo. Well, Mojo's and Papo's belong surely to different military divisions.

This comodo is beautiful, is not simple model.

Other in my list because his paint is detail.

I need to get one of those. It's a great model. Thanks for sharing. Does anyone know if it's available in Europe anywhere?
