The reason Nilgai have such huge muscle necks is related to their mating behaviour.When the males are fighting they go down on their knees and push/ shove each other and also sometimes jab each other with their rather sharp horns!

Susanne, I once saw a documentary with veterinaries trying to cure a scimitar oryx but one of them has almost been slaughterd by his horns because Arabian oryx(es) are really violent and can fight until they are very hurted

I had two problem with my earlier plan.
After I finished and uploaded it, I saw, I make plan from the same photo which about Anna sculpted her OOAK Nilgai. So I wanted to make an other plan.

On the other hand, I got help from a kind forum member, and I saw, that is not a mature bull on my plan.

Now, here is my 2nd plan, about a mature bull. I hope you will like. Please, feel free to share your remarks.

(6,8 cms on the top of the shoulder).

I will not steal Noemi's topic for that. When I will know for sure I will let you know. However I would prefer to decide a pose I think you can post a suggestions when I open new topic for that. It's nice to see enthusiastic reaction for this idea.
