Schleich 2015 list of releases with pictures!

Sorry for just a newbie question - but are these all the new items for the whole of 2015? There will not be any new figures release throughout the year?

I don´t know, but I hope Schleich will sell new sealife animals in May.....

Not that aren't all figures, I'm sure there will be some more elfes, maybe some sea animal, more smurf, maybe also some knights?

Yes! I'm agreed. It's an Orinoco crocodile, isn't it?

This are only the January items. There are many more to come in 2015.

The mouth from a Orinoko crocodile is more filigree (thinner)

Actually I'm VERY impressed with these first images! There are many great looking models! Can't wait to see them in hand!

AND - notice - there's only ONE new horse with braids!
I actually think the horses look really great! And special breeds like Ardennes and CURLY HORSE Does Schleich stalk STS?

It looks like their horse sculptor has improved! Anatomy looks better on the new ones. I'm surprised by the reuse of old molds, but I do not mind the TWH and Tinker Stallion in those new colours! The Pinto mare is a little meh though... but her new husband - what a flashy dude!

Annoying though - for those who bought the stable with the Tinkers...

Can't wait!!

I just noticed the spots on the boa contrictor.  
They are very weird looking....
Like some parasite ate its way through the snake's skin.

Yes I am indeed very happy they've included this breed in their range! I NEVER thought that would happen!

He is not perfect I agree, but none of the new Schleich horses are, I think - but there are certainly some very neat improvements compared to the later years, both in breeds and anatomy.

Still cuteness, but I really like how bulky they've actually managed to make him look - just like the real Ardennes - and in a, what looks like, roan colour! I have only seen that beautiful colour on one other Schleich horse - the recently retired Quarter horse.

Yeah, as I read your post you summed it up very well like what's better this years etc... I was very surprised to see the Ardenner, that I forgot to remember to see if there was braided horses this year. Luckily only one! Overall they're almost all better than last year. I just hope that their colors are gonna be as nice as they're in photos. I like him a lot too

My two cents

Lion roaring: Well, nothing I need to roar about. It seems not bad but it has nothing special for me, especially after the Papo and Mojo lions for 2014.

Spotted hyena: At first glance, I thought wow, nevertheless there is something odd with the head. I will have to wait seing it in person.

”Nile” crocodile: Far better than the previous model. Maybe it could even compete with the Papo and Mojo.

Black rhino: ”Big Head” is striking back, I didn’t like him the first time… More details will not change my mind.

Ostrich: At last, the first serious ostrich by Schleich. I still need to look at his eyes, on the last model they were so big…

Tiger: The best Safari Ltd model made by Schleich, with a nice painting. I like it very much.

Tiger cubs: Curaçao!

King cobra: I hope it is really a King cobra. Last year Papo made an Indian cobra… Big tongue

Giant panda cub: … Guili guili guili…

American alligator: Interesting. Nice head

Alligator baby: … Guili guili guili…

Scarlet macaw: At first glance, it looks promising, far more than the Papo.

Boa constrictor: I don’t like the pose but it is only a personal taste.

Rattlesnake: I can’ wait to see it !

Arctic wolf: Maybe… Even if the Safari ltd. one has still the first place on my shelves.

Eagle owl: Where is Winnie ?  Seriously, I need to look at it in real life.

I love the new horses, the cats, some of the wildlife and the big cats. And the DRAGONS, wow, great. I like also the bayala fantasy animals.

The wolf looks like rabies, lol. But you want reality, so you get it.

That with the stable and the tinkers is a first to market item. I known that and i wait, so i can get the tinkers on normal way. No bad letter needed. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I agree. I'm really excited about both this and the alligator. (Their snouts are the right shapes! unlike the old schleich alligator, which I still liked.)

I noticed exactly the same thing! It wasn't a King Cobra at all! I liked the Papo model, it just wasn't labeled properly.

It is always iportant to have your feedback. By the way, scarlet macaw, American alligator , Eurasian eagle owl, Nile crocodile, king cobra, and some others are just quick guesses. They're identified in a generic way. If you find more mistakes, let me know.

Lion: He isn't bad, but I'm also not a big fan of it, something looks really strange  
Hyena: Of course on my wishlist!  
Crocodile: Looks interessing 
Rhino: Wonderful model, but it has a very big head. 
Ostrich: Too bad that it's an other male, I hope that he's smaller than the one of 2010, that I can repaint it. 
Tiger: Why they remind me that much on Safari? They are nice siberian ones, but why they have a paintjob of a bengal?
Kong cobra: Awesome figure, hope that it's smaller that the one of Papo, too bad that the tounge is that fat.
Panda cub: I don't think this was nececarry, but it looks so natural cute  
Alligaotrs: For me a little too cute to be an alligator, could be black and not green
Macaw: Looks nice, and better than the blue macaw from 2013, I can't find any mistakes but think it looks too glossy
Boa: Really strange texture.  
Rattlesnake: Looks really nice
Grey wolf: Somebodys favourite story was little red riding hod.  
Arctic wolf: Completely different of the grey wolf, this one looks to cute, ,with these big eyes, looks more like a very young. 
Eagle owl: Really nice texture but something on the face looks strange.

Kiki is right,  a king cobra is good:)
