Well it´s official... no more Schleich horses for me

These are the baddest horses that I've ever seen.  The stallion looks ok but the other both, no thanks.

Eehmm, SCHLEICH WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!!

I know people get disappointed with negative comments about Schleich but what can we do?
What I am really afraid is that soon or later people will find a reason to buy them and Schleich will keep not respecting the wonderful animals horses and ponies are. ... and the good old horse figures will keep forgoten to the posterity.
Let's hope next releases are better.

The rearing stallion seems to be quite life-like, but the mare and perhaps also the foal (have to see it in reality first) are in the toyish style that we've seen last year. A continuing trend, it seems, for the topselling horse line of Schleich.

I'll bought the rearing one but I'm not going to be a Schleich collector anymore. When I started just bought schleich - I thought it was the better brand and also easy buying for me, just taking in real shops. Now I met other brands which are better than schleich in some points... no more schleich except the ones which worth it

Am curious what height they will be, if they are in scale to the bigger Shetland types that were released earlier, and to the Falabellas.

don't know what to feel.... i only like the foal, and again BRAIDS!
We get one every thursday untill newyear, so I hope next week will be a better one....

Exactly my words from last year. I have bought none of 2014 releases and I will never buy them. The ugliness of their horse figurines has reached a critical limit

Schleich said that they will be some better horses? If that would be so, it would be a big suprise.

They get a lot of complaints about the figures and the braids on their page ....

They keep telling to wait and see the others .... I don't believe they are much better though.

I think these Shetlands are very cute and nice
Sport horses from Schleich are usually really bad but the ponies? Why not! Their plush style works perfectly with fluffy ponies  
These are cute the same as mini Sheltands in real life. And owners of this type of ponies often make braids on manes too.
