And the prehistoric mammals???

The ceratopsids are nice this year. I'm not a fan of the colors, particularly the medusaceratops, but that can easily be fixed.

The Daeodon and Smilodon surprised me- a bit of healthy competition might be helping the production of some nice extinct mammals. Right now (in my view) the Daeodon may be the most promising new figure; a bit toothy, but naturalistic with a narrow gait (from this angle) and colors reminiscent of artiodactyls like pigs, peccaries, antelopes... but I should wait for another picture.

Scott, don't forget the planned Battat Nasutoceratops- ceratopsian collectors are spoiled for choice this year.  I like the color schemes on the two CollectAs, at least in concept.

I think it's a good sign when a company's new releases of living and extinct animals can be anticipated with roughly equal enthusiasm, and it seems CollectA has reached that point.
