Lineol series IV Ibex: A walkaround by Kikimalou

After the Lahl Ibex walkaround, it is now time for me to show you a Lineol Ibex.

Lineol made three ibex and this one is the last. It was produced from 1940 to 1960 and later VEB Plaho copied it to make their own smaller ibex..

The ibex is not one of my favorite Lineol figures, however it doesn't mean it is not good, surely it is and I'd love to have one, it means that some of other figures are really extraordinary. Their option for an exemplar with straighter horns is curious as it is its juvenile appearance. Thanks for another great walk around of a remarkable figure.

It just remind me that as a kid I had little plastic copy of such ibex (perhaps it was Plaho or copy of Plaho made in Poland) and I just loved this toy. How easy it was to keep it in hand and imagine mountains and big group of ibexes, or one proud ibex at the top of the hill. Later I lost this figure somewhere and maybe my imagination also lost some of it's power. Now I see this Lineol and I see mountains again
Also, wow, now I know one more element of the story of toys I had in the past Perhaps I should look for Plaho ibex actually
