The CollectA one is absolutely stunning! Can't wait. But in response to why the Safari Ltd one was so brown, that was a mistake made at the factory in China. From what I've heard, Safari was not happy about that. The second production run apparently also got the color wrong, which also wasn't pleasing to Safari. Finally, though, they got it right (by end of 2013). [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]the dark brown figure closest is the first production run (2012); the middle figure, greenish-gray, is the first "repaint," which I first got in stock in January 2013; the rear figure is the most recent "version" and features a very natural shade of gray. |
